Deep Montana Roots
Stockman Bank started planting our roots in 1953 in the eastern Montana cow town of Miles City. At that time our staff consisted of Bill Nefsy, owner and CEO; 4 Officers and staff members; along with Bill’s teenage daughter, Virginia. The Stockman culture of hard work, determination, commitment, tied with personal and professional success had begun. Since 1953, this unique culture stands strong through Virginia Nefsy Coffee; her late husband CM; along with their son Bill Coffee, current CEO; daughter Caren Coffee, current Executive Vice President; and the employees of the company.
