our communities make montana great
We know that each community in Montana is made up of dedicated individuals who believe in the common attitudes, interests, and goals that help make our state a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. At Stockman, we support organizations that focus on improving the unique lifestyle we Montanans love so much.
Bucking Horse Sale
We are a long-time supporter of the World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale. Held the third weekend in May each year, the Bucking Horse Sale started as the Miles City Roundup back in 1914. It showcases some of the best bucking stock in the nation and offers a variety of fun activities. Come check out our wagon and horse team in the parade and join the fun!
We proudly support youth soccer across Montana. For over 10 years, we have been the major sponsor of the Magic City Soccer Classic that draws soccer enthusiasts from across the state, as well as Canada, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. This two-day spring tournament, held at Amend Park in Billings, hosts over 200 games by youth ranging in age from 7-19.
Montana State University Community Banking INternship
We are proud to contribute to Montana State University’s Community Banking and Internship Program. Cody Siems, Credit Review Officer, piloted the internship program at our Miles City bank location. “Interning with Stockman Bank opened my eyes to the opportunities in community banking, giving me a leg up in respect to my understanding of finance and on my career outlook,” Siems said. The program is designed to help open doors for those interested in pursuing a career in banking.
Lewis & Clark Foundation Trail Mixer
We are a proud sponsor of the Lewis and Clark Foundation Trail Mixer. This event raises money for programs held at the Interpretive Center, and gives the Center and the Foundation the opportunity to share its story with the community. It has grown into the Foundation’s largest event with more than 400 guests attending each year. e
CASA of Lewis & Clark and Broadwater Counties - Light of Hope Banquet
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program was developed to train advocates to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children. We have been an avid supporter of CASA of Lewis and Clark and Broadwater Counties since 2014. We provide a sponsorship for the Light of Hope Banquet held in the spring each year.
