Starting in a small bank agency in Ekalaka, he later co-owned and managed agencies in Broadus and Baker for 22 years before going to work for Stockman Insurance in 2013. He and his family are involved in their local church, and also enjoy golfing and watching the many sporting activities in the Billings area.
