Our Communities Make Montana Great

We know that each community in Montana is made up of people who believe in the common attitudes, interests, and goals that help make our state a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. At Stockman, we support organizations that focus on improving the unique lifestyle we Montanans love so much.

YMCA Riverbank Run

The 47th Annual YMCA Riverbank Run will be held Saturday, April 27. Join us as we wind through historic downtown Missoula and the beautiful University of Montana campus. With four race options available, there's something for everyone! The Missoula Family YMCA has a long-standing history as a place that supports family fitness, health, and overall well-being. They offer a variety of programs that focus on building a healthy spirit, mind, and body for members and participants of all ages.

St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway

The 3rd Annual Billings St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is going on now through May 4. Every ticket purchased helps support the mission of St. Jude: Finding cures. Saving Children. It is from the generous support of our community that families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. Cost is $100 per ticket. Reserve your ticket online at dreamhome.org or call 800.592.1621. The drawing will be held on May 5.

Maps for Kids

We are excited to continue the legacy of Maps for Kids by helping school children learn geography and history. This program was created by Don and Marilyn Floberg in 2003. When they made the decision to retire, they passed the torch to us! Maps are distributed to 1st and 4th grade children across Montana to help teach them the rich history of our state, the U.S. presidents, states and their capitals, and more.

World Famous Miles City Bucking Horse Sale

The World Famous Bucking Horse Sale, held the third weekend in May each year, started as the Miles City Roundup back in 1914. It showcases some of the best bucking stock in the nation and offers a variety of fun activities. Come check out our wagon and horse team in the parade

Benefis Mayfaire

Each May the Benefis Foundation celebrates the joy of giving through the Mayfaire fundraiser. As their signature event, Mayfaire allows the opportunity to partner with compassionate businesses, sponsors, and donors. This year, the new Benefis Women's & Children's Center will be the recipient of the funds raised through Mayfaire. This new center will make it more convenient for mothers to bring their children in for care and to receive care of their own. The center will also allow Benefis Health System to improve the level of care offered to mothers, sisters, daughters and children that call North Central Montana home. Mayfaire will be happening May 10-11 at the Mansfield Convention Center.
