eStatements Q&A Reference Guide

What are eStatements?
eStatements, or electronic statements, replace your paper statements. You receive a monthly email notifying you that your eStatement is available for secure viewing, saving, and printing through eBank.

How do I signup for eStatements?
Click Here to sign up for eStatements. Remember, you must sign up for eBank before receiving eStatements.

Where do I view my eStatement?
You view your eStatements through eBank, our online banking service. After logging on to eBank, select the account for which you would like to view your statement and then click on the eStatement button. To see images, be sure to select the imaged statement option (rather than text) when viewing your statement. Here you will see a link to your eStatement.

Will my eStatement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes, it will contain exactly the same information. In the email notification you receive, you will also receive information directing you to our privacy policy, a reconciliation form and other disclosures that currently appear on the back of your paper statement.

How do I know when my eStatement is ready?
You will receive an email from us notifying you that your statement is ready. The designated email for the primary account holder will be used. If you would like to use another email address, please provide that information to us when you signup.

How do I access my eStatement online?
After logging on to eBank, select the account for which you would like to view your statement and then click on the eStatement button. To see images, be sure to select the imaged statement option (rather than text) when accessing your statement. Here you will see a link to your eStatement

The frequency and timing of your eStatement will be exactly the same as your paper statement. Your eStatement will arrive at least one day sooner than your paper statement due to electronic vs. mail delivery.

Your account eStatements are available for viewing for 24 months from the date you first sign up for eStatements. Your first eStatement will be available the month following enrollment.

If I receive an eStatement, do I still receive a paper statement by mail?
No, eStatements replace your paper statement.

I receive statements with check images. Will my eStatement include images?
Your eStatement will include the same information as your current paper statement. To see images, be sure to select the imaged statement option (rather than text) when accessing your statement.

Is there a fee to receive eStatements?
No, eStatements are a free service available to all Stockman Bank customers.

Can I receive eStatements for my business accounts?
Yes, you may receive eStatements for any personal or business checking, money market, or savings accounts.

What accounts are eligible to receive eStatements?
Personal and business checking, money markets and savings accounts may receive eStatements.

Do I have to be signed up for eBank to get eStatements?
Yes, in order to view eStatements, you will need to be signed up for and using eBank.

How do I know my eStatement is secure?
Once you receive your monthly email notification from us, you will actually logon to eBank with your user ID and password. eStatements are subject to the same rigorous security expectations as the account information you view on eBank. Nothing confidential is sent by email; you have to access eBank with your user ID and password to see any confidential account transactional information.

Do I need any particular software to receive eStatements?
There are two ways to view your eStatements: text or image. The text version does not require any special software and will load quicker. The image version requires Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 9.0 or higher). Many computers have Adobe Reader installed. If you don't have it, the basic software is available as a free download from a link on our website (on the Online Banking page). Click here to download Adobe Acrobat Reader.

What Web browsers can I use to access my eStatement?
We recommend that you use either Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 3.4 or higher, Opera 10 or higher, or Google Chrome 4.0 or higher.

After I sign up for eStatements, when can I expect to receive my first eStatement?
If you enroll for eStatements at least 5 days prior to the next statement cycle, then your next scheduled statement will be prepared as an eStatement, and you’ll receive an email notification that it’s ready. If you enroll less than 5 days prior, your eStatement will be available on the next cycle.

Can I have my monthly eStatement notification emailed to more than one email address?
The email notification goes to a single address, but anyone authorized on the account and signed up for eBank has the ability to view the eStatement online.

Will joint account holders be able to view eStatements online?
Yes, as long as each account holder is signed up for and using eBank, they will be able to view online statements. An email notification will be sent to a single email address each month, but accessibility to the eStatement is available to anyone authorized on the account and signed up for eBank.

Can I combine my checking and savings accounts into one monthly eStatement?
Yes, to combine your monthly statements, contact any of our Stockman Bank locations or call 1-877-300-9369 and provide them with the accounts you'd like combined on one statement.

When I select the eStatements button in eBank, I'm given the choice to view a text version of my statements or an image version. What's the difference?
Both versions contain the same transactional information.

Text version

  • Loads quicker (ideal for older computer or slower internet connections)
  • No additional software necessary (loads within your web browser)
  • Includes account transactional activity (no images)

Image version

  • Includes account transactional activity and images that have cleared your account
  • Loads through Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.0 or higher (most computers have this software; if not, link to a free download is available on our website)

How do I save my eStatements?
When your eStatement is displayed on the screen, go to File > Save. Save to the desired location on your computer.

How do I print my eStatement?
When your eStatement is displayed on the screen, go to File > Print and select the desired printer.

What do I do if my email address changes?
Be sure to notify us of your new email address so we can continue sending your email notification that your eStatement is ready. You may update your email address by going to the Options menu within eBank.

Who do I call if I have questions about my eStatement?
Call 1-877-300-9369 between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, to speak to a customer service representative.

What if I change my mind and want to receive paper statements again?
You may switch back to paper statements by going to the Customer Service area within eBank. There you will find a link and brief request form to return to paper statements. You're also welcome to make the request directly to any Stockman Bank office.

If I close my account, how will I get my final statement?
You will receive your final account statement in paper format to the address on record at the same time of the month that you would normally receive it.
