Community Spirit
The Wm. and Lorene Nefsy Foundation plays an integral role in the relationship
Stockman Bank enjoys with the communities we serve. Since its establishment in 1991, the foundation has awarded over $810,000 to worthy recipients.
This giving reflects a commitment embraced by everyone at Stockman Bank
to enhance our communities.
We believe that without strong education, healthcare, and both economic
and cultural development, our communities will not continue to thrive.
Armed with that philosophy, the foundation works closely with each bank
in awarding monies to worthy recipients and community projects.
In addition to the grants the foundation makes yearly,
Stockman Bank of Montana contributes to endowments
in the state. The endowments represent a broad base of Montana values,
such as caring for those less fortunate, disabled or without work. Values
such as aiding our youth in achieving an education or allowing elderly
couples to stay in their community while receiving critical healthcare.
Just as valuable as the clients we serve are the communities in which we work and live. We understand the importance of making a difference and encourage involvement in our communities, both monetarily and through volunteer of time, energy and leadership as well.
